Step 1

Define your Goal

Whether you are going to distribute your print material at an event, or leave it sitting on your front-desk. Defining what your objective is the first and most important step to take before printing any promotional material.

Define your print size

Large materials are more difficult to handle and store, smaller materials are easier and cheaper, but less efficient if you need to grab readers’ attention. Choosing the right size of your printed product will help you achieve your desired goals.

Step 3

Choose your paper thickness / weight

Also known as paper GSM, papers stocks can be thicker which are more durable, heavier and more expensive. Or they can be thinner, less durable, lighter and cheaper. Depending on your objective, picking one or the other can be a game changer.

Step 4

Choose a print finish

The most common types of paper finishes are Glossy and Matte. But there are quite a few different options, and learning the difference between them can really improve the final product. Choosing the wrong finish can make your material difficult to read.
